Cristina Tararache

Cristina Tararache has gained valuable expertise in energy & environment, mergers & acquisitions, privatizations, as well as capital market transactions. She has been involved in top projects involving global clients in the energy and environment field, with a focus on renewable energy projects, constantly assisting clients in all matters related to projects structuring, negotiation, power generation, distribution and supply, licenses, emissions and energy trading.

Mrs. Tararache has also assisted high-profile private investment funds in share transactions, and also counseled global and local investors in significant commercial transactions including mergers & acquisitions, joint-ventures, takeovers and debt restructuring, participation at privatization process. Furthermore, Cristina has built a thorough expertise in EU law, with a focus on energy, state aid and environmental law.

Her educational background includes a LLM in European Union Law, from Bucharest University, and also diplomas from University Libre de Bruxelles – Summer School in Immigration and Asylum Law, as well as from the Academy of European Law – Summer School in European Private Law. She is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association and is a certified English translator.

Mrs. Tararache has been the main writer of the monthly Digest legal articles, available on the RMDT website. She practices in Romanian, English and French.
